Program Details — BSc (Hons) Computing

BSc (Hons) Computing is a fast-paced and practical degree preparing students for a rewarding career in computing. Ranked UK top 3 for Computing in Modern Universities (The Times Good University Guide 2025), it uses a blended learning approach combining on-campus and online work over a standard four-year Scottish Honours structure.

Entry requirements vary by country/qualification. English language: IELTS overall 6.0 with no band lower than 5.5 (or C1 Advanced/equivalent). Applications via UCAS (code G400).

International (2026/27): £17,950 per year. Eligible international students automatically receive a scholarship worth £12,000-£28,000 over the duration of the course. Scholarship: Abertay International Scholarship; Abertay RUK Scholarship (Games, Computing, Cyber); Baillie Gifford STEM Scholarship for Women (up to £1,500). Eligible international students automatically receive a scholarship worth between £12,000-£28,000 over the duration of the course.
