Program Overview
BSc (Hons) Ethical Hacking is a specialist four-year computing degree that develops deep technical expertise in computer security earlier than traditional computing degrees. It is the UK's longest-running ethical hacking degree, teaching students to think like attackers in order to defend systems.
Admission Requirements
Entry requirements vary by country/qualification. English language: IELTS overall 6.0 with no band lower than 5.5 (or C1 Advanced/equivalent). Applications via UCAS (code GG45).

Fees & Funding
International (2026/27): £17,950 per year. Eligible international students automatically receive a scholarship worth £12,000-£28,000 over the duration of the course. Accredited by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC, part of GCHQ) and BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Scholarship: Abertay International Scholarship up to £3,000/year (up to 4 years). Eligible international students automatically receive a scholarship worth between £12,000-£28,000 over the duration of the course.
