Program Overview
MSc Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity is fully certified by the National Cyber Security Centre (part of GCHQ) and is the only Master's programme of its kind in the UK. Aimed at computing/IT/technology graduates, it covers penetration testing, digital forensics, information security management, malware analysis, port scanning, buffer overflows and password cracking, teaching an offensive approach to cybersecurity. Graduates have gone on to work at Dell SecureWorks, Goldman Sachs and GCHQ.
Admission Requirements
Minimum lower second-class (2:2) honours degree in computing, technology or engineering for UK applicants; international equivalents accepted. Applicants whose first language is not English must meet Abertay's English language requirements.

Fees & Funding
International (2026/27): £19,950 (full-time, 12 months). Home/RUK rate £10,400. Part-time option: 24 months. Eligible international students automatically receive a scholarship worth £3,000-£7,000 over the duration of the course.
