Program Details — Computer Systems Technology – Security

Gain in-depth technical and customer service skills to manage and solve IT challenges. From cloud infrastructures to wireless access and network security, students train to configure desktop, server, and network operating systems and study programming languages, along with communication and project management skills desired by employers. Cambrian is an authorized Cisco Systems Networking Academy, Red Hat Academy, and Microsoft IT Academy. The program includes a seven-week placement in the sixth semester, and graduates can challenge industry certifications. Graduates can also enter directly into the Cybersecurity, IT Business Analysis, or AI/Machine Learning graduate certificate programs.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (30 credits) or equivalent or mature student status, including any grade 12 English (C) or (U) and any grade 12 mathematics (C) or (U) (MCT4C highly recommended). International English requirement (Diploma): IELTS Academic 6.0 (no band under 5.5), TOEFL iBT 80, PTE 58, or Duolingo 105-115.
