Program Details — Data Analytics

This graduate certificate program empowers professionals to elevate their analytical skills and confidently lead data-informed decision-making in any industry. It combines computer science and technology courses with databases, research methods, marketing, and communications studies. Students learn to pull meaningful insights from large, complex data sets that organizations need to predict trends and make informed decisions, and to simplify complex data as a data storyteller. The program offers maximum flexibility with full-time or part-time study, in person or fully online, and builds skills in tools including advanced ArcGIS, Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, SQL, and Microsoft Office and Excel.

Applicants must be graduates of a diploma, advanced diploma, or degree program from an Ontario College or equivalent; OR possess five years of work experience in a related field (or combination of education and work experience). Recommended: proficiency in Microsoft Excel and any grade 12 mathematics (C) or (U) (MCT4C highly recommended). International English requirement (Grad Certificate): IELTS Academic 6.5 (no band under 6.0), TOEFL iBT 84, PTE 61, or Duolingo 120+.
