Program Details — IT Business Analysis

This intensive program enables students to advance businesses at the strategic, tactical, and operational levels by improving processes, products, and services through technology. Students bridge the gap between business and technology by developing communication, leadership, problem-solving, planning, and critical thinking skills. They gain a thorough understanding of how to perform elicitations, write specifications, create and use models, evaluate opportunities, analyze information, negotiate deals, provide quality assurance, and work through difficult situations, and become familiar with the global standards for business analysis. The program includes a hands-on, 7-week work-integrated learning experience in the final semester (placement or capstone project).

Applicants must be graduates of a diploma, advanced diploma, or degree program from an Ontario College or equivalent; OR possess five years of work experience in a related field (or combination of education and work experience). International English requirement (Grad Certificate): IELTS Academic 6.5 (no band under 6.0), TOEFL iBT 84, PTE 61, or Duolingo 120+.
