Program Details — Mechanical Engineering BEng Honours

This mechanical engineering degree allows you to study a broad range of topics so you are well prepared to take on any role in the engineering industry, building strong fundamentals supported by practical and design-focused learning.

A Level: ABB including Mathematics or Further Mathematics. IB: 32 points with Mathematics at Higher Level grade 5. English language: IELTS 6.0 overall including 5.5 in each of the four elements.

International tuition fee for 2026 entry: GBP 30,700 per year. Fees set annually and expected to increase in line with inflation. International and EU students can access over 1,000 university scholarships, including Mechanical Engineering subject scholarships.
