Program Details — Bachelor of Computing Science (BCS)

A four-year (120-credit) Bachelor of Computing Science in the Faculty of Science, with an optional co-op. PGWP-eligible. Provides a comprehensive foundation in computing science and software development with pathways from TRU's computing diplomas.

B.C. Grade 12 or equivalent (or mature student status); Pre-calculus or Foundations of Mathematics 12; English 12 with a minimum standard. International applicants must meet TRU's international English language requirement (IELTS 6.5 standard for undergraduate admission). Open admission.

International undergraduate tuition is $875 CAD per credit / $2,623 per course (2026-2027). A standard bachelor's degree (120 credits, 40 courses) totals $104,952 CAD over four years, i.e. approximately $26,238 CAD per year. Subject to TRU's Guaranteed Tuition Model (rate locked for program duration plus one year). Entrance scholarships and financial aid available.
