Program Details — Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science provides a fundamental grounding in the core elements of computer science with exposure to real-world problems and solutions. Study areas include artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer systems and networks, information security, database systems, human-computer interaction, graphics, software engineering and theory of computing. Accredited by the Computer Science Accreditation Council (CSAC) - the longest continuously accredited computer science program in Canada. All programs can carry a Co-op designation with over 100 placements each year.

Meet Faculty of Science admission requirements plus English Language Proficiency. International undergraduate IELTS Academic: overall band 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 (or TOEFL iBT overall 83, PTE Academic 59, Duolingo 120). $100 CAD application fee; $1,000 CAD enrolment deposit on acceptance.

International tuition and fees average approximately $32,500 CAD per year based on 30 credit hours for 2026-2027; varies by faculty and subject to change each term. Total estimated annual cost including housing approximately $47,000 CAD. Co-op work terms provide paid career-related experience. Scholarships available via SAMS.
