Program Overview
A four-year Bachelor of Science in Data Science offered collaboratively through the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Students learn to explore, prepare, visualize, present, compute, and make predictions based on data, combining analytics, machine learning, programming and artificial intelligence. It is the only undergraduate data science degree program offered in Saskatchewan. Courses include CS 210 Data Structures, CS 320 Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, CS 375 Database and Information Retrieval, and CS 465 Data Mining.
Admission Requirements
Meet Faculty of Science admission requirements plus English Language Proficiency. International undergraduate IELTS Academic: overall band 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 (or TOEFL iBT overall 83, PTE Academic 59, Duolingo 120). $100 CAD application fee; $1,000 CAD enrolment deposit on acceptance.

International tuition and fees average approximately $32,500 CAD per year based on 30 credit hours (10 classes) for 2026-2027; varies by faculty and subject to change each term. Total estimated annual cost including housing, food and books approximately $47,000 CAD. Really Big Deal savings bundle can save international students up to $21,000 over four years.
