Program Details — Software Systems Engineering Master's Degrees

The University of Regina's graduate programs in Software Systems Engineering provide both academic and applied research growth. Degree options include the Master of Applied Science (MASc - Thesis, 30 credit hours, research focused), MASc Co-op (38 credit hours), Master of Engineering (MEng - Project, 30 credit hours, career-growth focused for practicing engineers), and MEng Co-op (38 credit hours). Core strengths include applied software engineering research, industry partnerships, and faculty mentorship. Popular topics include networking and full-stack development, Internet-of-Things, people-centred design, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and security systems. Co-op options offer two 4-month or one 8-month placements.

Apply to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research and meet graduate eligibility requirements (an appropriate undergraduate engineering/computing degree). International credentials must be submitted through WES. Graduate English Language Proficiency: IELTS Academic overall 6.5.
