Program Details — MSc Cyber Security

A specialist master's for graduates wanting advanced skills in data and network security to combat 21st century cyber threats. Modules include Fundamentals of Digital Forensics, Network Penetration Testing, Malware Analysis, Applied Cryptography, Incident Response and a Masters Project.

An undergraduate degree (preferably Computing) at least comparable to a UK second-class honours degree; candidates with other qualifications or at least two years of relevant industrial experience considered. English language: IELTS Academic overall 6.0 with no element below 5.5 (or equivalent).

International (EU plus Non-EU) total tuition: GBP 18,900 for 2026/27 at Lanarkshire and London. Scottish GBP 7,500 (Lanarkshire); Rest of UK & ROI GBP 12,350.
